Choose Your Path

There are three prominent disciplines of Yoga . One is Gyan Yoga. This is the path of those who love knowledge very much and want to know Almighty on the plain of knowledge . These people love to have theological discussions . Another sort of Yoga is Karma Yoga . This is the path of those people who want to realise Almighty by their actions .The third prominent Yoga is the Yoga of Love ,i.e., Bhakti Yoga .This is for those who abound in feelings and who want to realise Almighty through love and devotion . One should try to know his own preference and work accordingly .

Seek Almighty as your friend and be not frightened of any foe.
Pray to Almighty every day preferably more than once almost in a routine .
Learn from scriptures and from teachers and from the lives of the saintly .
Try to lead your life as an honest servant of Almighty.

I am a teacher of English but I have also been a systematic student of Sanskrit and I have helped several of my students by supplying them with something of the eastern wisdom which strengthened them psychologically to overcome the stress of the modern age .To-day when I received an email from a student of mine who earnestly needed some spiritual solace , I turned to this space to reach those who need me spiritually . The first step of the spiritual yogic healing is faith in the holy word or letter 'Om' . It is one of the names of Almighty . To begin with , it is good to pronounce this holy letter thrice or five times every day in morning .
